Dive into adventure with Norwood’s seventh and eighth graders as they bring the beloved tale of Finding Nemo Jr. to life! Join us on May 1st and 2nd at 7:00 p.m., and on May 3rd at 2:00 p.m., for an unforgettable underwater journey filled with laughter, friendship, and courage.
Finding Nemo Jr. is based on the heartwarming animated film that follows the journey of a clownfish named Marlin, who embarks on an adventurous quest to find his son, Nemo, after he is captured and placed in an aquarium. Along the way, Marlin is joined by a forgetful fish named Dory, and together they encounter numerous challenges and meet colorful characters in the vast ocean.
The story explores themes of parental love, courage, and perseverance as Marlin learns to trust others and face his fears, while Nemo, on his side of the story, forms his own friendships and learns to be brave in a new and unfamiliar world. Ultimately, the film is a tale of overcoming obstacles, learning to grow, and the importance of family and friendship.
