CONGRATULATIONS TO NORWOOD ROBOTICS ON AN EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE AT THE FLL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT
On Sunday, January 12, 2025, the Norwood Robotics Teams participated in the FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournament. Out of the 24 participating teams, only four advanced to the Maryland State Tournament—and two of them are from Norwood! And that's not all...
The Blue Hawks and the Green Hawks received the following special recognition:
Blue Hawks: Winner of the Core Values Award, which goes to the team that has shown the greatest enthusiasm, the best sporting spirit, the most extraordinary respect for its own team members, and the most support for other teams in the tournament.
Green Hawks: Winner of Best Robot Design, 2nd place for Robot Performance Award, and winner of the overall Champion’s Award, which celebrates the team that fully embraces FLL Core Values while achieving excellence and innovation in Robot Performance, Robot Design, and the Innovation Project.
We couldn’t be prouder of our teams, including our youngest team, the White Hawks! Next stop: the Maryland State Tournament on February 22 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Let’s go, Norwood Robotics!
